I went to London to see Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre. It was a fantastic show. The set, costumes, and music were all brilliant! I loved the revolving stage, which made different views of a scene making it all the more real. And I was humming all the songs the next few days!
On our second day we went to all the attractions we could fit in as it had been a long time since we had both been to London and there were even some attractions we hadn’t even been too before.
We started at Tower Bridge as our hotel was on the same road, with views of the shard and gherkin.
We then went to Trafalgar Square, where we found a blue cockerel, a Scotsman playing a bagpipe and a floating Yoda? We also found a man drawing flags on the pathway which people would put coins on where they were from, amazing to see who was wondering around in London that day.
We also had a quick stop in the National Museum to get out of the cold for a little bit.
We then walked down to Buckingham Palace, with the flag up which I think I remember means the queen isn’t in?
We then walked into a park where the squirrels were eating out of peoples hands. Really cute to see them up close.
We then stumbled into the Horse Guards Parade where they were actually changing the horse guards as we walked in!
We then hopped on the tube to Big Ben, where we walked passed Downing Street, and also caught the London Eye.
After that we had to rush back to get to the Royal Albert Hall which was beautiful, to see Mcfly for their 10th Anniversary, which was an amazing night and the perfect end to our little trip.
